Smiling Quince, Crying Pomegrante [Gülen Ayva Ağlayan Nar]

In 2001, a number of settlement areas in the south eastern part of Turkey were covered by waters accumulated by the dams built on the River Euphrates under the Project South East Anatolia. In the absence of human beings, the new inhabitants of these areas are now the fish.
